My Classroom
My classroom is an extension of me. I'm creative. I love to make things and photograph everything.
I like to be involved and be vested in my community. I am a life-long learner. I love to re-use and recycle.
I love being outside and experiencing all that nature has for me; I also feel inspired walking the streets of our beautiful city.
My art photography classroom and darkroom are welcoming and inclusive.
The walls (and ceiling) are covered with creative inspiration for me and my students.
We are fortunate to have one of the only darkroom photography classes in the New Haven area. The magic of the darkroom is an unforgettable and sometimes addictive experience. The hands-on participation and skill is invaluable.
Whether my students and I are learning about shutter & aperture, or my staff and I are capturing lasting memories on each page of our yearbook, I am reminded each day that I learn from my students as they learn from me.
